Forever a Kid

I spent the last couple of days helping out my baby girl who had an operation. Even slept on the top bunk in the boy’s room which was like being at a slumber party. She has the cutest, nicest kids and I’m not just saying that because I’m the grandma but it does make me proud of the good mother this daughter is.

The youngest is driving me on the lawn snow tractor, pretending to anyway. I kind of wish I’d cleared the snow of the trampoline so we could have jumped on it but it was kind of cold for the boys.

I loved the story of Peter Pan when I was a kid and I vowed I would never grow up either and I’m happy to say that so far, I’ve kept that vow.

  1. My mother in law always says you have to grow old but you never have to grow up. See it’s true!

  2. I’ll say a prayer for your daughter too!~Ames

  4. Aw, you’re a good grandma! It’s nice that you got them outside playing in the winter, lots of kids would rather stay inside.

  5. What fun! Those boys are lucky to have such a great full of life grandma! Get well soon to the daughter.

  6. I could use a Peter Pan moment……..I’d fly somewhere warm and dry.

  7. Hope your daughter will be well soon! ♥

  8. I hope your baby girl heals up real quick, but not so quick that you dont get to enjoy time with the kids! Oh heck, shes probably enjoying the time too đŸ™‚ hopefully shes getting in some lounge time with slippers on …

I agree -To keep young I think everyone must have the curiosity of a child; otherwise how boring would life be! But I do like the fact I can stay up as long as I want, and I can eat the whole bag of chips without someone telling me to stop -too bad the consequences though are adult size lol~!

  9. Hope your daughter is feeling better.Nothing like having your mom around when you are ill. Even if she is a kid herself.Bet she felt better just knowing you were there
