I need to repent. The neighbor I liked the least called to offer his sincere sympathy. Said it had been a pleasure to work with my cowboy and really wished us all the best.

He said: “in the end, we’re all just people.” I asked my cowboy what he meant by that and he told me it was this neighbor’s way of saying there isn’t anybody any better or any worse than anyone else.

I know that’s how our Father in Heaven sees us. I think I better repent and start seeing people that way too.

  1. Friend, I am literally weeping. I feel like my heart is being yanked on for you. Oh, I’m just so darn sorry and wish you could end up by us.

  2. Wisdom comes to us often from the place we least expect it , the trick is to hear it , and that you did

  3. Hope things are looking up for you soon this season.
    *hugs* ♥

  4. Now that’s one for all of us . . .

  5. We can’t like everyone, and sometimes it’s hard to remember that they are no worse or no better than us. Our feelings often get in the way of our kindness, don’t they?

  6. The longer I live, the more I realize just that. Who do we think we are when we judge someone else. I try to see things from their perspective, and just go away feeling sorry for them if I really don’t like they way they see things. We are, indeed, all just people.
Too bad we can’t drum that sentiment into the heads of all young people!
Wishing you all the best in your quest for a better life.
